Waymo says Singapore will be its next international robotaxi city

Waymo announced it will launch a robotaxi service in Singapore in 2028. The Alphabet-owned company said its vehicles will arrive in Singapore in the coming months for mapping and autonomous testing with human safety drivers in 2027. This marks Waymo's entry into the Southeast Asian market following its robotaxi operations in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Phoenix.
