US to Sell F-35s to Saudi Arabia in $24.3 Billion Deal

The State Department notified Congress of plans to sell Saudi Arabia up to 48 F-35 fighter jets produced by Lockheed Martin in a potential transaction valued at $24.3 billion. President Donald Trump announced the planned sale in November ahead of a White House visit by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. The sale has been in development for multiple years.
