Saudi Pivots Oil Routes After Pipeline Attack

Saudi Arabia increased crude oil sales from ports outside the Strait of Hormuz after an attack shut down its East-West pipeline, which normally transports oil across the country to Red Sea terminals. The shift in sales routes coincided with a decline in oil prices as traders assessed whether the supply disruption would be temporary. The East-West pipeline typically carries a significant portion of Saudi crude exports.
