NJ Transit Riders Get Longer Commutes, Fewer Trains Next Month

New Jersey Transit will reduce service on regional rail lines beginning next month while completing construction of the Portal North Bridge, a rail link on the Northeast Corridor. The work will extend travel times for riders using affected routes. NJ Transit and Amtrak both operate service on the corridor. The construction project is scheduled to continue through the specified timeframe.
