Customer Data Permanently Lost in Iran Strikes on Amazon Data Centers

Amazon Web Services stated that data stored in its data centers in Iran was permanently lost following military strikes on the facilities. AWS did not design the data centers to withstand attacks of that nature. The company has not provided a timeline for restoring services or specified which customers were affected by the data loss.
