Stanford Professor Fukuyama on Today’s Extremist Ideology

Francis Fukuyama, a Stanford professor, wrote in a 1989 essay that liberal democracy would prevail over communism but that its supporters might lose the "courage, imagination and idealism" associated with ideological conflict.
