'I can get more time': Breast cancer patient finds out she can get life extending drug

Patients in England with incurable breast cancer can now access ribociclib on the National Health Service. The drug was added to the NHS formulary following a decision by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence. Ribociclib is used in combination with hormone therapy to treat advanced hormone receptor-positive, human epidermal growth factor receptor 2-negative breast cancer.
