River home to 500 crocodiles chosen as Olympic rowing venue

A river populated by approximately 500 saltwater crocodiles has been approved to host rowing and canoeing events at the 2032 Brisbane Olympics and Paralympics. The venue selection was confirmed by Olympic organizers. Athletes will compete on the Brisbane River, which is known to contain the crocodile population.
