Thailand Seeks More Crude Oil Supplies Outside Mideast

Thailand's Energy Minister Akanat Promphan stated that the country has reduced its reliance on Middle Eastern oil suppliers to less than 30 percent, down from approximately 60 percent before recent supply disruptions. Promphan said Thailand has diversified its oil supply sources and is accelerating its energy transition in response to market conditions. He made the comments during an appearance on Bloomberg's "Insight with Haslinda Amin."
