'Direct Indexing' to Diversity Portfolios

Manju Boraiah, Senior PM and Head of Systematic Fixed Income at Allspring Global Investment, stated that the Federal Reserve's rate increase was necessary. Direct indexing allows investors to sell individual holdings within a concentrated position and replace them with similar index components, potentially reducing tax liability while achieving broader diversification.
