Hiker in Colorado takes trip to the hospital after being kicked in the back by a moose

A man from Westerly, Rhode Island was hiking in Colorado when a moose charged at him. He used a trekking pole to defend himself during the encounter. The moose kicked him in the back, and he was transported to a hospital.
