Part-human part-mouse brain developed in science breakthrough

Researchers at Stanford University developed mice with human brain cells integrated into their neural tissue through genetic alteration. The mice were modified to accept and support the functioning of human brain cells within their brains. The research was conducted to study how human neural cells behave and develop in a living organism.
