Chipotle Is Working With Palantir to Track Food Safety Risks

Chipotle Mexican Grill partnered with Palantir Technologies to develop a platform that monitors pest incidents, employee illnesses, and other food safety factors across its restaurants. The collaboration was announced following multiple foodborne illness outbreaks linked to Chipotle locations in 2024 and 2025. Palantir will integrate data from Chipotle's existing systems to identify patterns and potential risks in real time. The platform is designed to alert management to safety issues before they spread across multiple locations.
