GOP Rep. Downing: Warsh 'Has No Choice' But to Hike Rates

Rep. Troy Downing of Montana stated on Bloomberg's "Balance of Power" on Tuesday that Federal Reserve Chair Kevin Warsh must raise interest rates because inflation figures have not reached the Federal Reserve's target level. Downing said raising rates is necessary given current economic conditions. The Federal Reserve targets a two percent inflation rate and adjusts interest rates to help achieve that objective.
