Nintendo opens up Fire Emblem with the gigantic Fortune’s Weave

Nintendo announced Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave with an open-ended game structure for the Switch 2. The game follows the design philosophy introduced in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, which allowed players to explore the map in any order and tackle objectives nonlinearly. Tears of the Kingdom expanded on this approach. Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave will apply this framework to the tactical role-playing game series.
