T rex footprints unearthed in first-ever discovery 66 million years after creature walked the Earth

Researchers discovered the first known Tyrannosaurus rex track in North Dakota's Hell Creek Formation, consisting of four footprints spanning over 23 feet. The track provides physical evidence of how the predator moved across the landscape. The Hell Creek Formation dates to approximately 66 million years ago, near the end of the Cretaceous period.
