El-Sayed grilled on Piker, Israel and socialist ties after Mike Rogers skips Senate debate

Abdul El-Sayed was questioned during a Detroit Senate debate on his past appearances with streamer Hasan Piker, his positions on Israel, and donations he received from the Council on American-Islamic Relations. Republican Mike Rogers did not attend the debate. El-Sayed is the Democratic candidate in the 2026 Michigan Senate race, and Rogers is the Republican candidate.
