Wednesday, September 16, 2026
Monaco, Bulgaria, and Ivory Coast are expected to be removed from the Financial Action Task Force's list of jurisdictions with deficient anti-money laundering controls, according to announcements scheduled for next month. The Financial Action Task Force is an intergovernmental organization that monitors compliance with standards for combating money laundering and terrorist financing. Monaco has been on the list since 2020. The removals would reflect the countries' efforts to strengthen their financial regulatory frameworks.
