Saudis Pivot to Send More Oil Through Hormuz After Pipeline Shut

Saudi Arabia increased spot sales of crude oil following the shutdown of its East-West pipeline, which transported oil across the country to its Red Sea export terminal. The pipeline closure halted cross-country flows to the Red Sea coast. Saudi crude exports are now being routed through the Strait of Hormuz instead.
