Arizona man says he lost $475k home to HOA foreclosure over less than $1,000 in unpaid dues

Toby Newton of Mesa, Arizona said his homeowners association foreclosed on his $475,000 home and sold it at auction for $8,172 over $977 in unpaid dues. Newton said the HOA rejected his offers to arrange a payment plan for the outstanding amount. The home sale occurred through an HOA foreclosure process in Arizona.
