Voters mostly don’t like AI and data centers, but neither party seems to have an edge

A poll conducted by the New York Times and Siena University of 1,503 likely voters found that 61 percent oppose the construction of data centers to power AI technology. The survey, released Tuesday, did not show a significant partisan divide on the issue. Neither Democrats nor Republicans demonstrated a clear electoral advantage on the question of AI and data center expansion.
