Agility’s new humanoid robot will stop, squat to avoid harming human coworkers

Agility Robotics announced that its humanoid robot can detect and avoid human coworkers by stopping and squatting to lower its center of gravity. The robot was designed to operate in shared human environments without physical barriers or safety cages. Agility stated the robot includes sensors and collision avoidance systems for workplace deployment.
