Judge blocks plan to return Trump's name to the Kennedy Center

A federal judge ruled that the Kennedy Center's board cannot restore former President Donald Trump's name to the building without Congressional approval. The Kennedy Center removed Trump's name from the building in 2021. The ruling found that any reinstatement of the name requires action by Congress rather than a decision by the arts center's board alone.
