Nike co-founder Phil Knight to donate $1.1 billion to Oregon medical center

Phil Knight, co-founder of Nike, announced a $1.1 billion donation to Providence St. Vincent Medical Center in Oregon. The funds will support construction of an all-women's hospital and expansion of cardiovascular care services. The donation was made to the Portland-area medical center.
