Volvo’s plug-in hybrid XC60 and XC90 can really go the distance

Volvo announced updated plug-in hybrid versions of the XC60 and XC90 sport utility vehicles. The automaker stated the vehicles will offer extended battery-only driving range compared to existing plug-in hybrids on the market, which typically provide 30-50 miles per charge. Volvo did not specify the exact range figures for the updated models in the announcement.
