Report: Surrogate Says She Was Duped into Carrying Baby for Chinese Billionaire Who Has over 100 U.S.-Born Children

An American surrogate told investigators she was not informed that the baby she is carrying is intended for Chinese billionaire Xu Bo, who has fathered more than 100 children through U.S. surrogates, according to an investigation released Sunday. The surrogate said she learned the identity of the intended parent after already agreeing to the arrangement. Xu Bo is a Chinese national whose use of U.S. surrogacy services has been documented in multiple reports.
