Valve is still figuring out ‘how and when’ to do Steam Deck 2

Valve designer Pierre-Loup stated the company is determining "how and when we can deliver something like that" regarding a next-generation Steam Deck handheld. Valve released its 2026 hardware lineup in 2026, which included the Steam Controller, Steam Machine, and Steam Frame. The company has not announced plans or a timeline for a successor to the Steam Deck.
