AI 'kill switch' may need to be mandatory, Anthropic co-founder says

Jack Clark, co-founder of Anthropic, stated that artificial intelligence systems may need mandatory shutdown capabilities. Clark said "most labs have different ways of being able to pull the plug," and indicated this capability may need to become a requirement across the industry.
