Cuba Insisting on Full BRICS Membership Despite Bloc Not Seeking Members

Cuba requested full membership in BRICS during the bloc's annual summit hosted by India on Sunday. BRICS, which includes Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa, has not announced plans to expand its membership. Cuba's government has made similar membership requests in previous years.
