New York Seizes a Dozen Celebrity Deepfake Websites

The Manhattan District Attorney's Office seized 12 websites that created and distributed deepfake images, according to a statement from the office. The sites targeted approximately 1,200 victims, the office reported. The action represents the largest coordinated seizure of deepfake websites by New York law enforcement to date.
