Volkswagen’s slippery new EV breaks a bunch of efficiency records

Volkswagen unveiled the Mission Efficiency, a prototype electric coupe built on the company's MEB+ platform, which the automaker says achieved efficiency records for an electric vehicle. The two-plus-two-seat prototype incorporates front-wheel drive components from Volkswagen's upcoming ID.Polo and ID.Cross models. Volkswagen designed the Mission Efficiency to demonstrate advances in aerodynamic efficiency for electric vehicles.
