Grisly discovery from legendary Roman emperor's reign reveals soldiers' remains, weapons

A Roman military camp from the reign of Marcus Aurelius was excavated near Šurany, Slovakia. The site contained soldiers' skeletal remains, weapons, and architectural features including gate structures. The camp dates to the 2nd century CE during Marcus Aurelius's reign.
