Europe’s Fractured Stock Market Finally Gets a Single Data Feed

Monday, September 14, 2026

European financial regulators implemented a consolidated data feed for equity markets on Monday, combining price and trade information from multiple exchanges into a single source. The system, called the consolidated tape, aggregates real-time trading data across European stock exchanges. Market participants can now access unified pricing information previously scattered across separate venue feeds. The consolidated tape is intended to increase market transparency and reduce fragmentation across Europe's equity trading system.
