Malaysia Charges Second UMNO Leader After Pilgrimage Fund Probe

Former Minister Jamil Khir Baharom was charged by Malaysian authorities with allegedly misappropriating 860 million ringgit from Tabung Haji, the Muslim pilgrimage fund. He is the second UMNO leader charged in connection with the fund investigation within the past two weeks. The amount is valued at approximately $210 million.
