Houthis enter US 'kill box' after seizing Red Sea 'cork,' former Pentagon official warns

Houthi forces seized Perim Island in the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, a strategic location controlling shipping traffic through the Red Sea. A former Pentagon official said the seizure places the Houthi position within range of U.S. Navy capabilities in the region.
