Alien Terrorist Removal Court deports legal US resident to Afghanistan in first-ever case

Nazira Haji Zada, a lawful permanent resident of the United States, was deported to Afghanistan following proceedings in the Alien Terrorist Removal Court. The case marked the first deportation order issued by that court. Zada had conceded to being classified as an "alien terrorist" during the proceedings.
