Can Venezuela Rescue the Oil Market?

Venezuela holds some of the world's largest proven oil reserves. Luisa Palacios, an energy analyst at Columbia University, stated that reviving Venezuelan oil production would require years of work, up to $150 billion in investment, and rebuilding relationships with international partners following decades of contract modifications, asset seizures, and infrastructure deterioration.
