Sunday, July 5, 2026
Vietnam's government announced enforcement actions against counterfeit goods manufacturing and sales in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi. The U.S. Trade Representative's office has identified Vietnam as a major source of counterfeit luxury products sold internationally. Vietnamese business owners and residents expressed mixed views on the crackdowns, with some supporting enforcement and others citing economic concerns.
