Scientists Who Study Sleep and Narcolepsy Win Prestigious Lasker Award

Two researchers studying narcolepsy won the 2026 Lasker Award for their work on the disorder's underlying mechanisms. The researchers' animal studies identified a biological pathway that led to development of a medication targeting the condition's root cause. The Lasker Awards are presented annually to scientists for advances in medical research and public health.
