Friday, September 11, 2026

A JD.com subsidiary agreed to pay $500,000 to settle Securities and Exchange Commission allegations that it conducted transactions designed to meet revenue targets from October 2022 onward. The SEC claimed the unit created the transactions to inflate reported financial results over multiple quarters. The settlement did not include an admission of wrongdoing by the subsidiary.
