CATL Invests in New Zealand Firm to Develop Graphite From Wood

Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. Ltd. invested in a New Zealand-based company that converts forestry byproducts into graphite for lithium batteries. The company, known as CATL, is a Chinese battery manufacturer. The New Zealand firm's technology processes wood waste into material used in battery production.
