The US Government Launched 3 Previously Unreported Investigations of Polymarket Trades

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission opened at least three investigations into Polymarket trades, according to documents reviewed by WIRED. The investigations examined trades related to Biden pardons, potential conflict of Iran-related events, and trading activity connected to Google. The CFTC did not publicly announce the investigations at the time they were opened.
