Dan Chung was the CEO and chief investment officer at Fred Alger Management on September 11, 2001, when 35 company employees died in the attack. Chung was not in the office at the time of the attack. Following the attacks, Chung led the company's reconstruction efforts. Fred Alger Management has continued operating since that time, with Chung remaining in his role as CEO and chief investment officer.
