Tesla could transform the trucking business — and capitalize on high diesel prices

Tesla announced plans to expand production of its Semi electric truck, a vehicle in development for several years. Morgan Stanley analysts stated in a report that increased adoption of electric trucks could affect the commercial trucking market. The Semi has completed test deliveries to selected customers, with production volumes remaining limited as of early 2026.
