‘Their souls are in that steel’: 9/11 beam makes emotional stop in Indianapolis before return to NYC

A 16,900-pound steel beam from the World Trade Center's South Tower arrived at the Indiana War Memorial in Indianapolis as part of Tunnel to Towers' nationwide tour. The beam is scheduled to return to New York City following the Indianapolis stop. Tunnel to Towers is a nonprofit organization founded by Frank Slattery, a retired FDNY firefighter.
