Meta says it’s changing AI suggestions after posing invasive personal questions

Meta announced it is modifying prompts used by its AI chatbot after a video circulated showing the system requesting personal information about a woman's young daughters. Meta spokesperson Dina El-Kassaby told The Verge the company "missed the mark" in its design. The change addresses how the AI generates suggested conversation topics with users.
