Student loan payments will soar if borrowers don’t act soon, but glitches abound

The Education Department will automatically place borrowers into an income-contingent repayment plan if they do not exit the Saving on a Valuable Education (Save) plan by a specified deadline. The department has reported technical issues with the exit process.
