Two arrested at socialist anti-Trump protest after assault at ‘closest entry point’ to GOP convention: police

Dallas police arrested two people near the Republican National Convention after a reported assault. The arrests occurred at what police described as the closest entry point to the convention venue. One of those arrested was identified by an associate as a socialist protester who stated that right-wing provocateurs were responsible for the incident. Police deployed riot gear during the operation.
