SEN McCORMICK: The heroic passengers of Flight 93 showed America how to stand united

On September 11, 2001, passengers and crew members on Flight 93 learned of attacks on the World Trade Center and Pentagon through phone calls. Todd Beamer told a ground operator "Let's roll" before passengers and crew attempted to retake the aircraft from hijackers. The plane crashed in Shanksville, Pennsylvania, killing all 33 passengers, 7 crew members, and 4 hijackers.
