The Bayeux Tapestry, a nearly 230-foot textile depicting the 1066 Battle of Hastings, is on display in London after being housed in France for 900 years. The tapestry documents the Norman conquest of England and the end of Anglo-Saxon rule. The display marks the first time the artifact has been in England since the 11th century.
